The Joys Of Babysitting!!!

Hey Guys,
Well, today I was babysitting Nikki, and Brayden was here, and they happened to find one of Moms curtain rods (about 6 ft long and about 2 inches around) and they carried it around the house together, thinking it was pretty cool. I enjoy watching them play together, even though at times it can be tough, Nikki likes to play the big sister. For those who don't know, (which almost all of you don't) Jacob is in Mexico with his Abuelita (Grandma) and should be back in a couple of days. And Gabby is at her dads this weekend, so it was only the babies for a couple of days. That's all for now!

Something New...

Well family, this is my first blog, and I thought that I would do it on here since most of you either have one or follow someone on here. Mom, my sister Faith, her 3 kids, Gabby, 7; Jacob, 4; and Nikki, 20 months, and Brayden and I all found a place together. It's a 3 bedoom 2 bath, with a huge kitchen, dining room and living room and a big, fenced-in backyard. We all enjoy staying here together, even though having 3 WOMEN and 4 children can be tough at times, but Faith and I are very, very thankful to have a roof over our heads. Mom stays at home with the kids when Faith or I have to go somewhere important, so that's really nice to have a live-in babysitter.
I don't know if Mom has told any of you but a month ago today, Faith and I, plus Brayden, Nikki and Jacob, were all in a car accident. It wasn't that big of a hit, but it was enough to put Faith and me in chiropractic care for a couple of months. Mom's car wasn't totalled and it's currently in the shop. I was driving, and the other lady hit me, she failed to yield, but I don't think she got a citation for it.
Please pray that I will get a car soon, I need to have my own way of transportation, I'm always using Mom's car and that can be very frustrating because I have limits on where I can go and can't go. And I need a car so that
can get to and from work or school when either of those happen. I'm hoping to take my GED test real soon and then when I pass that I'm planning on going to school...for what, I don't know yet.
Well, that's my update for now. Keep checking for more!!

Our Very Own Blog -- Just ALi'l Update On The Ski's

I just thought you guys would like to hear about how Brayden is growing up and hear a little about our life.
Brayden is now 17 1/2 months old, walking and talking like crazy!! He is such a joy to be around. He's always a happy baby, unless his cousin Nikki (20 months) picks on him, then he whines and does the same thing to her!!! He has learned about pockets, and where his nose is. Now we're working on the mouth, but he insists on touching his nose still. I think his favorite toy is any kind of ball he can find and throw (esp at Nikki).
Brayden's typical day is waking up at about 8 a.m., plays with Oma (Audrey) and Nikki til Mommy gets up, then we eat something, play some more, and then its his nap ti
me. After he wakes up, he eats again, and fights with Nikki, and then he's supposed to go to bed about 9 P.M., but that rarely happens.
Most of the time we stay at home trying to move in still but sometimes we go
places. He is so happy that he gets to sit in a "big boy seat" he can look out the window and see all the cars go by. He's really starting to wave bye-bye to people, and when he does something that he knows is good or right, he claps his hands. Just a couple weeks ago, he sat on the potty chair and went poo-poo...I was so excited, but he hasn't done it since.
Well, I'm having a total mind blank, so if y'all have any questions about him just ask me.
